Carl’s Story

Carl had a tough start in life. At age 10, he was caring for his two younger brothers. He lacked confidence and had low self-esteem. Carl was awarded a mentor (Ben) who is now our Head of Pause & Engage to help with his individual development.

Beth’s story

Beth’s story Beth met our Head of Coachmakers through playing football in Cornwall. Early on Beth showed an interest in coaching and was always keen to volunteer and help out with the sessions.

Montell’s story Leaving school at 16 with few GCSE’s and limited options, Montell was put in touch with 2nd Chance where he joined the Coachmakers programme in September 2012.
